I blew through this book in a day!
Jax and Damon are searching for the mate. She’s out there, somewhere. Then on a snowy night, they meet her – Cass. Damaged, lonely, and accepting of them. She’s the missing piece of their puzzle. How will she feel when they tell her the truth about the situation? Will she run? Will she accept? Will she laugh at them?
Cass needs to fight through her past in order to accept her future. She is a widow. How can she be willing to trust two strangers so quickly? It’s like there is a link between them. Once she understands their situation, she is ready. Ready to be part of the triad of power. To walk amongst the shifters. To take her place. There are those among her new clan who fear what might happen. Other’s fear it too. Can she put them at ease? Can she show them, she’s not what they should fear?
This is a quick sexy read. I love Damon. Jax was good too, just didn’t appeal to me as much as Damon. Cass is a good character too. I do look forward to knowing more about Simon and Audra.
There were some things that were confusing, like when she mentioned her ass needed his attention too. HIS?? There were some situations where I’d have to reread to understand what was going on. I’m blaming that on fast reading.
